Biography

Charly Carretón is a Spanish musician and sound engineer born in Madrid in 1991. He started to play drums at the age of 7, self-taught, and right after he started to study music theory, piano, trumpet and guitar, having over 20 years of experience in music performing. He has taken part of several bands since he was 14. Nowadays, he takes part of the Spanish symphonic progressive metal band Against Myself, which he is founder member since 2009. On the other hand, in 2019 he joined the British heavy metal band Savage Messiah (Century Media Records), having performed tours in Japan, through Europe with bands like Symphony X and Rage, and playing in huge festivals like Wacken, FortaRock, Full Metal Cruise, etc.
