Biography
Born and raised in Diamond Bar, California, Casey Kernohan grew up in a household surrounded by musical instruments; yet took a profound interest in the drums at a very young age. He started out playing in garage bands all over town, but soon progressed to professional gigs and became a sought after player in the Orange County area. After being self taught for his formative years, Casey began formal percussive training through his high school drumline and furthered his education by moving up the coast to study music at the University of California, Santa Barbara. While in college he began touring the country with various bands and was introduced to Cydeways. Shortly after joining, they signed a record deal and quickly began a rigorous tour and festival schedule all over America. Casey currently resides in Santa Barbara, where he stays busy recording, touring, and teaching. He also enjoys long walks on the beach and a nice sunset.
