Biography

Cam Brannelly grew up in Draper, UT where he began playing the drums at a young age. As a young kid he played the piano until, as a teenager, he got his first drum kit and fell in love. While he still enjoys the piano, as well as the guitar, the drums have always been his favorite. Cam spent time playing drums in the jazz band at Alta High School in Sandy UT but it wasn't until college that he started playing in his first local performing band named Westward The Tide. The 5 piece indie pop project from Provo, UT released two EP's, Everything Is (2013) Microphone Heart (2015), as well as one full length LP, produced by local music producer Joshua James, titled Sorry Soul (2014). After 3 years playing together, Westward The Tide split up in 2016 when band members moved out of state. Cam then joined the band The National Parks who also got their roots in Provo, UT. He has been playing and touring with them over the last year and they have just released their third full length LP titled Places (2017). The National Parks is a 5 piece, folk-infused, indie/pop band. Cam is excited to be working with such a great and reputable company like Paiste and is a proud endorsee. He currently resides in Vineyard Utah where, when he's not playing music, he loves anything outdoors including skateboarding, snowboarding, hiking and camping.
