Biography
Bruno Squillo is a Brazilian "hired-gun" drummer, and since 2017 he has worked with one of the biggest and most important duets in the history of Brazilian music, Chitãozinho & Xororó. This duo has 48 years of career, over 40 million albums sold, 3 Latin Grammy Awards and thousands of shows performed by Brazil and the world. The musical style of the duo is the sertanejo, style related to Country Music. Traveling through Brazil, and playing for great audiences, Bruno consolidated his work on a national level with the duo Chitãozinho & Xororó on Evidências Tour, this being one of the most beautiful shows that happen in Brazil today. A major milestone in his career was the CD and DVD recording of Chitãozinho & Xororó "ELAS EM EVIDÊNCIAS" in October 2017. This album was recorded in the city of Rio de Janeiro, where the duo Chitãozinho & Xororó shared the stage with famous Brazilian singers. Bruno Squillo was born in the city of Pato Branco, in the state of Paraná on November 15, 1990. He started playing the drums at the age of 6 and always dreamed of being a professional drummer accompanying artists. At the age of 15 he began to play professionally in his region, and over the years he established himself as a recognized sideman musician in the southern region of Brazil. Bruno believes that his quest for excellence and quality were very important factors so that it was possible to reach the high level of Brazilian music, and that a hired-gun musician should always be well prepared technically for everything the music needs.
