Biography
Began playing in 1976, age 4. Full-time private instruction, 1990 age 19. Sr. Instructor and founder of current school, Drum World Tulsa, 1990-2010. Recognized by Pro-Mark 1992, Top 100 instructors in US. Owner, founder BWC Drumworks in Tulsa Oklahoma (2010-Present) and Méthode L'audace PDM proprietary drum method (est.1996).. Areas of specialization: (for drumset) linea/multi-voice applications, double bass mechanics, ostinato independence (for percussion) gong and metallic sound meditation and applications, orchestral snare drum mechanics, S.A. Moeller technique/philosophy, proprietary applications for handdrum, i.e., darbuka, doumbek, tar, bodhrán. North American director, brand operations/artist relations, Agner Swiss Drumsticks, Sempach Switz. 2016-present.

Sound character: Medium bright, full, warm, brilliant. Wide range, fairly complex mix. Fast, responsive feel. Full, bright, energetic open sound. Sharp, full chick sound. The original, once patented, wavy bottom hi-hat design. The 17" version adds extraordinary boost, low end and crisp projection.

A loud, lively, unusual cymbal with very specific ride and bell playing functions. Also suited for strong color accents and various percussion effects.

Well suited for upside down mounting over a ride bell.
