Biography
Branden Akinyele was born March 18, 1996. He started playing drums at the age of two. His mother would say he started playing drums in her womb due to the amount of kicking he’d do during her pregnancy. Branden received his first drum set at the age of five which became his first love. Around the age of fifteen he became the drummer for multiple choirs and gospel artist in the Los Angeles community. A couple of musical inspirations and mentors that have helped Branden along the way are drummers like Ron Allen Jr, Aaron Spears, Jonathan "Sugafoot" Moffett and thats just to name a few. As Branden grew into his own he got his first tour right after graduating high school in 2014. Going in the a 3 week tour with Sweden artist Mapei. He toured all of South America. After that at the age of nineteen he got the call to become the drummer for legendary rapper NAS. He toured the states with NASas for 2 years. Now you can catch Branden on the road with the Colombian R&B star Kali Uchis. She just wrapped up her 2nd headline tour and has been doing festivals non stop in the states and internationally. Also, he is the programmer and arranger for female rapper Kari Faux and the music director for singer Symphani Soto. Also known for his tasteful pocket and feel and also his amazing chops. He has been able to work in studios with artist like Dr. Dre.
