Biography
Drumming from the age of 10, Billy has performed in a wide variety of bands covering a multitude of genres such as: Rock, Punk, Reggae, Metal, Funk and Blues. Billy has toured extensively over the years, including several UK and European tours with high profile acts, and has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours from BIMM (Bristol Institute of Modern Music). Billy is a full-time member of the Kris Barras Band, signed to Mascot Label Group/Warner Music Group. Billy's playing can be heard on the 'Death Valley Paradise' album, which hit number 27 in the UK Official Charts Top 40. He is currently touring throughout the UK and Europe.

Sound character: Fairly dark, full, controlled, glassy, shimmering. Fairly wide range, clean mix. Very comfortable feel with a clear, full ping over a large, deep harmonic wash. This ride cymbal is extremely well suited for intricate stick work that calls for a strong bell in all types of Rock based music. Developed in co-operation with the legendary "Iron Maiden" drummer Nicko McBrain.
