Biography
Bill Lanham is a freelance drummer and percussionist based in New York City. Some of the recording artists he has played for include Lesley Gore, Melba Moore, Deborah Gibson, Fantasia, Eartha Kitt, and Ricky Martin. Bill has conducted clinics at Universities and Educational Percussion conventions. On Broadway he has held the percussion chair at “Wonderland” and “Jekyll and Hyde” and the drum chair at “Les Miserables”, “South Pacific”, “Evita”, and “Cats”. Bill has also played for numerous other Broadway shows. He recently was the drummer for the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical “Unmasked”. Bill can be seen performing the film “American Gangster” and the TV series “Luke Cage”. He also does recording work in his home studio. Bill is a proud endorser of Paiste Cymbals, Vic Firth Sticks and Mallets, and Remo Drumheads.
