Biography
Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Aviv started playing professionally at the age of 19. By 25, after having played, toured and recorded with some of the biggest artists in the country, he decided to relocate to Los Angeles, CA. During the first couple of years, Aviv has made a name for himself in the local scene, accompanying different artists ranging from Roc kand Pop to Hiphop, Funk and Reggae, as well as pursuing his own alternative rock project “Drugstore Fanatics”. In 2013 Aviv landed a gig playing drums for the band Air Supply with whom he’s been recording, performing on TV and touring all over the world, while also working with legendary producer Ken Scott and drumming for Alt-Pop artist Sophie Simmons, Niki D, rapper Kosha Dillz, Joker’s Hand, Eric Dash and many other local acts. In November of 2020 Aviv released his first drum loop-pack “HomeGrown Beats Vol. 1” Aviv proudly endorses Paiste Cymbals, Q Drums and Aquarian Drumheads.

Controllable, peppery stick sound over a dark layered oriental, smoky wash. A ride cymbal that can easily be used in a small jazz club setting and flourish in other styles such as blues or country music.
