Andy Parker

Born in Cheshunt Hertfordshire UK in March 1952. Got interested in drumming at an early age and got my first real kit at 13. Heavily influenced by the British drummers of the sixties, Keith Moon, Ginger Baker, Mitch Mitchell, Bobby Elliot, Brian Bennett etc. Became one of the founding members of the British rock band UFO in 1969, started listening to rock drummers like John Bonham (still my favourite) Bill Ward, Ian Paice, Cozy Powell and Phil Collins. Have left UFO twice over the years, did short stints with other artists, including the Nelson Twins, rejoined UFO in 2005 and have been with them ever since. Joined the Paiste family in 1974 and since then have never used another brand. My go to cymbal is the 2002, I have been using them since their introduction and I still love them!
