Biography

Alexander Sapega has been a PAISTE artist since 2004 from Belarus. Drummer of the Belarusian jazz band "Apple Tea", one of the founders since 1992. Since 2005 he has been teaching a class of percussion instruments at the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts. From 2005 to the present time, organizer and director of the "Baraban Beat" competition of performers on the drum set. He regularly conducts his own master classes based on two textbooks: A. Sapega "High Tea Drumming". Publishing House "White Wind", Mozyr 2005. A. Sapega "Modern drum set" Publisher "Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts", Minsk 2019. The eldest son Jan Sapega is also a drummer, he studies at the Amsterdam Conservatory.
