Biography
While growing up in the punk scene in Portland, OR, Adam gained traction performing and writing with many local acts and began touring at age 14. As time moved on, he began expanding past his foundation in punk, hardcore and thrash and explored the musical landscapes of noise, psychedelic and experimental music, building his skillset and versatility. Moving to New York opened up the doors to session work and performing as a live drummer for various acts on the Thrill Jockey roster, such as White Hills and Holy Sons. This led to the formation of the boogie laden psychedelia of Dommengang, which then relocated to Los Angeles. Being back out west, Adam joined forces with heavy rock hitters Black Mountain and has written, recorded and collaborated with the post punk outfit, Soft Kill. Adam is currently based in Portland, OR.
