Biography
Achilles, born in Ioannina, Greece, in 1998, embarked on his musical journey at the age of 13 when he took up the drums. A graduate of the Ioannina School of Music, his passion and dedication have driven him to excel in the music industry. Over the years, Achilles has performed in numerous live shows, European tours, and festivals, working with many well-known artists and bands. In 2022, he achieved a significant milestone by joining forces with GUS G, one of the world's most renowned guitarists, to play drums in his solo project. This collaboration extended to the band KRITERION, which features GUS G, Rob Chapman, and Felipe Andreoli. The same year, Achilles became the main drummer for Aeonian Sorrow, a Finnish-Greek band known for its European tours and festival appearances. In 2023, he recorded the band's second album, "Katara," further establishing his reputation in the music world. During November 2023, Achilles started working with the progressive metal project Bob Saganas, a duo consisting of drums and guitar. By the end of the year, he recorded the debut album, "Explorer," at Oceansound Studio in Norway. In addition to his performance career, Achilles is a dedicated drum teacher, mentoring over fifty students. He also showcases his versatility by playing and teaching at the Philharmonic Orchestra, balancing his passion for both contemporary and classical music.
