Biography
Originally from Chicago, Aaron (Mort) Mortenson got his start professionally backing up Grammy/Tony winning artist Heather Headley and Dove Award winning Allstar United. Since moving to Nashville in 2010, he has performed and recorded with artists such as Justin Townes Earle, RayLand Baxter, Caitlin Rose, Nikki Lane, G Love, John Popper, Buddy Miller, Hal Ketchum, Sleeping at Last, Margo Price, Cory Branan, Sarah Gayle Meech, Brazilbilly, Patrick Sweany, Adia Victoria, Erin Rae, and more. His main focus over the past 6 years has been the work with his own project Los Colognes.
