It is with great sadness, that we learned about the passing of Frank Beard. The drummer of iconic rock trio ZZTop died at age 77.
“He is one of the most important drummers in rock history in a unique band”, says Erik Paiste. “He put a rock solid groove behind it, that made it work like magic.”
We will never forget the visit of the charming, whitty gentleman at our Factory in Notttwil, Switzerland in summer of 2011.
A lover of the 2002 cymbals he became a great ambassador of the classic rock sound, that is part of rock music for 55 years.
