Biography

Growing up in a small textile town in western North Carolina, Tyler began playing at 11 years old when his dad gifted him with his first drum set for Christmas. When high school ended, Tyler found himself studying at Musicians Institute in Hollywood California and after 2 semesters and running out of money, Tyler returned home to Carolina and played locally for the remainder of 2008 before moving to Nashville in January of 2009. Since living in Music City, Tyler has performed with Derek St Holmes of Ted Nugent, Damon Johnson, Jon Pardi, Steve Holy, Josh Thompson, Zac Brown, Dave Grohl, Chris Young, Toby Keith, Dean Dillon, Clay Walker and others while keeping busy playing over a hundred gigs a year in the downtown club scene.
