About
„In order to choose the best I have to try and experience. I started my career with the Paiste 602 formula in 1995. I have come a long way between cymbals in 26 years, and I feel like I made a circle which is now closed. I have returned to where I started, what is the dearest to me and the best. PAISTE cymbals.“

Biography
My name is Tamás Tatai. I was born in Hungary on 26 July 1975. I started playing the drums when I was 14 years old. In the beginning I chose to be self-taught. During the high school years I played exclusively classic rock – Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin. The work of the latter has had a great influence on me to this day and will always be present in my life. After graduating from art school I continued my training as a drummer with a private teacher for 4 years, before I decided to become self-taught again. In the meantime and afterwards I had the opportunity to test my knowledge in several national and international projects, gathering experience in the musical styles of pop, rock, blues, funk, jazz, and classical. One of the most outstanding achievements of my career was the work with the late and great Jon Lord (legendary keyboardist and founding member of Deep Purple). Between 2009 and 2011 I toured with him several times in his symphonic rock act in a number of European countries and even Asia, and I also had the honour to be invited to take part in one of his studio recordings (Concerto for Group and Orchestra). I’m a founding member of Led Zeppelin tribute „Led Zeppelin Session”, which has presented the musical heritage of the classic band in top quality for over 25 years. Since 2015 I’ve been the organiser, host, and mastermind of Bonzo Celebration’s Day, an event absolutely unparalleled in my native Hungary. The next such event will be the third in a row on 26 April 2019, featuring musicians of the cream of the national drumming community. I have held series of drum clinics in the theme of John Bonham and the work of Led Zeppelin. Since October 2019, I have been an international endorser for Ludwig drums and Agner drumsticks.
