„Like everyone else, I have played and tested many different cymbals, but no brand inspires me like Paiste. I don't know how they do it, but one stroke on a new cymbal and my head explodes with ideas. I just got new Formula 602's and it's insane how smooth they cut through the sound without being too loud and leave more space to the guitars and vocals.“

Biography

Simon "Molly" Moll started playing drums at the age of 16, exactly at the age when most people quit after the regular school years. Just two years later he was already playing in a punk rock band and a fusion jazz band. Shortly after, he was asked to join his first successful band Rag Dolls, which was the start of his career as a professional drummer. After parting ways with the band, he toured as an independent drummer with the Pascal Geiser Blues Band and Velvet Two Stripes, among others. Currently, he is a permanent member of Basement Saints, a multinational rock band based in Switzerland. Basement Saints serve retro-feelings and prove that old-time rock 'n' roll is reviving with a new zest.
