Biography

"All my family are big music fans so our house was filled up with music all the time! And, of course, it made a great impact on my life. When I was 9, I started to learn to play guitar, but a bit later, I realized that drums are really my thing. For practice at home I used everything that I could find around: pots, buckets, books, pencils. After I went to music school, I then studied at music college, and, at this point, I have graduated from the Belarusian University for the Arts and am totally focused on playing drums. I would say that Nirvana and Dave Grohl has had the biggest influence on me. I was so impressed with the energy and dense sound of his drums. This power never left me feeling indifferent. I have to highlight John Bonham, Jan Paice, Chad Smith, Brad Wilk, David Silveria and others. I play lots of different music, work with recording studios, and collaborate with many famous Belarusian musicians and bands: Botanic Project, J:Mors, Leprikonsy, Dyadya Vanya and others. At this moment, I am a drummer with the TRUBETSKOY band. Very often, we are on tours in Russia and other European countries. Travelling and concerts is our lifestyle...today you are in the mountains, tomorrow you are at the Baltic Sea, and, after tomorrow...in Siberia...But it is always a pleasure to be back home. My life is a combination of my favorite work and travelling. I do not want to stop on what I have achieved...this is an essential idea for me! Move only forward!"
