Scott Hessel

After over two decades of recording and touring with various Tempe, Arizona bands, Scott is psyched to be rocking the drums on the road with the quintessential Tempe band - Gin Blossoms. He is thrilled to be joining the Paiste family. "When I joined my first band, I did my best to emulate Stewart Copeland's cymbal setup. I wasn't able to land a percussion tree or gong, but I cherished my 22" Rude ride cymbal. Now, I will be playing his Signature Blue Bell Ride on the road and enjoying every single ping!" In addition to playing with Gin Blossoms, he has toured and recorded with Gloritoe (RCA Records) and LET GO (The Militia Group), as well as worked with recording artists such as Lisa Loeb and Grammy award-winning producer, Chris Testa (The Dixie Chicks, Jimmy Eat World).
