Biography
Rune Solheim is the drummer of the Norwegian band Kaizers Orchestra since the start in 2000. Kaizers Orchestra became very fast Norways biggest rock band and are known for their great and energetic live performances. Kaizers is an alternative rock band influenced by various genres. Despite singing in Norwegian they also have great success as live band in Europe and now they go to the states. Rune is known for his signature, creative and alternative drumbeats. He started out as a jazz drummer but ended up as a “kaizer drummer”. Rune has played drums on all the 13 Kaizers recordings. He has also played for different other bands as Leif and the Future, Kloster, Starling, different choirs and some session performances. But his main focus is on Kaizers Orchestra.
