Biography

Geboren wurde Ronny 1971 in der Nähe von Berlin. Im Alter von 14 Jahren entdeckte er die Musik von AC/DC für sich und weil im Haus das Schlagzeug seines Vaters stand, verbrachte er nach der Schule die Zeit damit, zu „Highway To Hell“ zu trommeln. Zwei Jahre später bekam Ronny seinen ersten Unterricht an der Musikschule. Nach ersten Banderfahrungen stieg Ronny 1991 bei der gerade gegründeten Band EAST BLUES EXPERIENCE ein. Hier konnte er sich musikalisch entwickeln. Den nächsten großen Schritt konnte Ronny im Jahr 2006 machen: Er bekam das Angebot, bei der Band SILLY zu trommeln. Anfangs war er die Vertretung, aber ab 2010 dann die ständige Besetzung amSchlagzeug. Seit 2018 ist Ronny auch der zweite Schlagzeuger bei KARAT. Die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Produzenten Rainer Oleak führte dazu, dass er für Ronny ein Mentor bei seiner Entwicklung im Bereich der Studioarbeit wurde. Der Aufbau eines eigenen Studios ist das Ergebnis. Seit 1994 ist Ronny als Schlagzeuglehrer an der Musikschule Berlin Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg tätig.
