Biography

I am Rolf Pilve, 32-year-old professional drummer and drum teacher from Helsinki, Finland. I graduated from Pop & Jazz Conservatory in 2015 and I have been teaching privately for the last 10 years. I’m also teacher at The Drum Technique Academy (https://www.drumtechniqueacademy.net/) including some of the finest drummers in the extreme metal drumming scene. As a drummer my main job is playing drums for Stratovarius, one of the biggest heavy metal bands in Finland. I have had the privilege to tour all over the world with Stratovarius and played some of the biggest festivals in Europe.
