Biography
Quintin Ferbie Gulledge now known as Q, born in a musical family of 5 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He started playing drums at the age of 2, piano at 7 and bass at 13. In 2012, Q graduated from Milwaukee High School of the Arts where he studied jazz and classical piano and at this time starting to make beats for Ma$e and other artists in his hometown. A year later Q finally decided it was time to fulfill his dreams and moved to Los Angeles, California. The dreams began to blossom after a lot of work and driving around California. Q landed his first big gig with Sage The Gemini in 2014 then shortly after, he started playing keyboards for Estelle, Jojo, and Fifth Harmony. In the Summer of 2015, he auditioned and joined 1500 Or Nothin a collective of Grammy award winning producers and songwriters who helped him navigate through the industry and play with artists such as Bj Chicago Kid, Ty Dolla $ign, Kendrick Lamar, Usher, The Carter’s and MD for Lizzo, Ella Mai, Lucky Daye, Kiana Lede, Rae Sremmurd, and many others. Q Co-Produced 6 songs on Ella Mai’s debut Platinum album which include Triple Platinum Award winning song Trip. He also produced for Dj Mustard, YG, Rapsody, D Smoke among other artists. Q plans to keep growing as a music producer, expanding his passion in film scoring and future business ventures.

Perfectly suited for quieter musical settings such as blues, jazz and acoustic styles. Very user-friendly for percussive use and classical mallet application.
