Biography
I studied the saxophone. I practice piano. I’m a composer. But the drums…I’m a drummer ! I play with many artists and bands as an independent, onstage and studio, in France and Europe. Miguel M, Mathieu Pesqué, Baptiste Braman, Pauline & Juliette, Kareen Antonn, Tom Principato (US), Paul Cox(UK), JC Harrison (CAN). I also had the pleasure to collaborate on stage or studio with Francis Cabrel, Boulevard des Airs, Staff , Fred Chapelier and open for ZZ Top, Bill Wyman, Michael Jones, Bernard Allison, Popa Chubby.

Immediate, sensitive response, strong attack, controllable spread, even, layered fade. This crash combines silky, soft qualities with energy and projection for an incredibly versatile application range. Also extremely well suited as suspended cymbals and for mallet rolls.

Sound character: Rich, warm, lush, deep. Wide range, complex mix. Giving and responsive feel. Broad, warm open sound. Compact, lush chick sound. Extremely versatile hi-hat, perfectly suited for dynamic, articulated playing in a wide range of styles. “They are just chunky enough, but not overpowering. They are a little more chocolaty than the classic 602s”, describes Vinnie Colaiuta.

Perfectly suited for quieter musical settings such as blues, jazz and acoustic styles. Very user-friendly for percussive use and classical mallet application.
