Biography
Nicholas Mason, the “Living Dead Drummer”, is one of the most in-demand session and touring drummers today. He has performed on countless albums, singles and movie soundtracks, appeared in several music videos, mainstream movies and television, orchestrated drum clinics, and even co-hosted an international music TV program. While at the same time making regular appearances in percussion trade magazines such as DRUM! & Modern Drummer, and contributing to trade show seminars on Endorsement Programs as well as written articles for Music Connection Magazine. His credits include live and studio performances with Street Drum Corps, V2A, DK-Zero, Michael Grant, The Rhythm Coffin, Beasto Blanco, Orianthi, TUFF, Daisy DeLaHoya, Shania Twain, Nik West, and many more. Nick has appeared in big-budget films such as Bill & Ted: Face The Music, DeadAnt, and has performed on MasterChef, Cartoon Network, Showtime, FOX, ABC, as well as corporate work with NIKE, VANS, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Google, and Sony Pictures. He also currently holds a healthy teaching practice in Southern California, with 40+ private students per week, and is a Show Director for School Of Rock, a performance based music school with multiple franchise locations around the world.
