Biography
Max van Winkelhof has always been inspired by a wide range of musical genres and started playing drums at the age of 8. After being active in both the Dutch HipHop- and the European Hardcore/Metal scene he graduated at the Codarts Conservatory (University of Arts) in Rotterdam at the age of 22 in 2011. Currently, Van Winkelhof mostly plays with Dutch singer/rapper Diggy Dex and Dutch/German hardcore heavyweights Born From Pain. Diggy Dex completely sold out his last couple of Dutch tours and received several golden and platinum records for songs like Treur Niet (Ode aan het Leven), Ik Huil Alleen Bij Jou and Slaap Lekker which was ranked number 1 & 2 in the charts in The Netherlands and Belgium. Born From Pain was formed in 1997 and has been playing tours and festivals all over the world ever since.
