Biography
Born in Frankfurt/M Germany, Martin „Dog“ Kessler got his first drum set and private lessons at the age of 13. After some local Bands he got his first major record deals with TÜLAY and EAR MOVEMENT. This is how he became the drummer of the H-BLOCKX, WESTBAM, PAUL VAN DYK and ABWÄRTS or NINA HAGEN and the RODGAU MONOTONES. As a Studiodrummer you can hear him on many productions from the likes of SUBWAY TO SALLY, DE/VISION , EZIO, HEINZ HÖNIG to OLI.P, ROSENSTOLZ and ICH+ICH. As composer, songwriter and producer he worked with artists like DIANE WEIGMANN, BEN HAMILTON, UDO LINDENBERG and SKI’S COUNTRY TRASH as well as on scores and soundtracks for tv, cinema and theater in his own DOGHAUS Studio.
