Biography
Since childhood Māris has always felt like he is on the stage - playing air-drums or air-guitar, however, he started to play drums in elementary school. Now it has been more than 20 years behind a drum kit. Drummer has mastered different music genres starting from pop and rock to metal. Maris has played in several Latvian bands, but since 2018 he has been consistently playing in a well-known rock/punk/ska Latvian band “Oranžās Brīvdienas” that performs not only in Latvia, but also in Europe: Germany, The Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia, etc. Band will continue to tour in the Balkans and India in 2025. Māris is also a drummer of a well-known Latvian band “Z-Scars” and another rising new rock band “Everstate”.
