Biography

Manne started making music as a 5 year old boy living near Braunschweig, taking piano lessons for more than a decade. Fortunately his parents bought him his first drumkit as he turned 13 and from that moment on he wanted to be a drummer. After finally studying with Udo Dahmen in Hamburg from 1989 - 1993 he joined the professional Hamburg music scene and since that day he is a solid rock on the drum throne in the studio and live including some world Tours for several Bands and Artists like AnNa R. (Rosenstolz), Santiano, Albert Hammond, Lotto King Karl, Meute, Lacrimosa, Das Auge Gottes, Diva Int., Maite Kelly, Ramon Roselly, Kerstin Ott, … just to name a few. He also is composing and producing music for Artists like AnNa R., Lotto King Karl, Diva Int. a.o. Since he played for his first professional Band Das Auge Gottes from 1993 on he is very happy to be an endorser for the most beautiful sounding cymbals in the world… Paiste, of course. In 2025 he is currently on tour with SANTIANO and AnNa R. with a bunch of Paiste Giant Beat and Paiste PST X instruments and still loving them.
