Biography
Linda began playing piano at the age of 6 for many years, until she discovered the drums. She ditched the traditional college route to pursue private lessons, studies at the Musicians Institute and the Dick Grove School of Music and found herself where she felt she belonged - behind the kit. Growing up in a time when female metal musicians were a rare thing, Linda co-founded the band, Phantom Blue, comprised of all females with a twin guitar attack as the first and only female act to sign to Mike Varney’s shred label Shrapnel Records and touring the world began influencing many young female (and male) musicians to just go for it. With various side projects in between, she also co-founded The Iron Maidens- the World’s Only Female Tribute to Iron Maiden, after Phantom Blue disbanded and the touring has continued on for 20 more years to date so far.

Sound character: Fairly dark, full, controlled, glassy, shimmering. Fairly wide range, clean mix. Very comfortable feel with a clear, full ping over a large, deep harmonic wash. This ride cymbal is extremely well suited for intricate stick work that calls for a strong bell in all types of Rock based music. Developed in co-operation with the legendary "Iron Maiden" drummer Nicko McBrain.
