Biography
Lerod is from the Philippines , Started playing drums at the ageof 7 and became a professional drummer when he was 17, a drummer whose talent spans many genres, - pop, alternativerock, progressive rock, R&B, modern hip hop, jazz funk, to name a few. He has most recently played on international tourswith well- known artistes such JJ Lin and David Tao and is now adrummer for legendary JACKY CHEUNG, names very familiar toall Chinese audience across Asia like Singapore, China, TaiwanMalaysia Korea, Jopan and Hongkong. Completed JACKYCHEUNG’s “A CLASSIC TOUR” from 10/21/2016 until 01/29/2019. A tour that was inlucluded in Guinness Book of World Record forplaying 147 concerts in 97 cities all across the globe with4,849,840 crowd in total in just 2 years. Lerod has also performed with the Rise Up Band on their You AreAmazing world tour and gigged extensively across the regionover the last 19 years of his musical career. He spent time in Malaysia in 2009 as a drum instructor with a number of musicschools and has sharpened his skills by attending drum clinicsconducted by drummers of international reputation. Shared thestage with some Philippine artistes like Martin Nievera, Passage,Top Suzara, Luke Mejares, Anna Fegi and Nina. When he’s onbreak from tours he focuses and plays with his bands in Manilacalled Sub Projekt and Leaf.
