Biography
Kyle Spence is from Atlanta and lives in Athens, Georgia where he owns and operates RJS Recording. He has played with Fiddlehead, The Martians, Harvey Milk, David Barbe, The Tom Collins, Injected, Luke Roberts, J.Mascis & The Fog, and Dinosaur Jr, among others. He has been a member of Kurt Vile & The Violators since 2013.

Sound character: Deep, dark, rich, brilliant, warm. Wide range, fairly complex mix. Even, balanced, very responsive feel. Pearly, wooden ping over a wide, deep, full wash. Big, swelling crash sound. Strong, articulate embedded bell. An ultimate classic sound, developed in 1967 during one of popular music's most revolutionary eras.
