Biography
Jules Pampena is a drummer, singer, producer and multiinstrumentalistwith from Montreal. He has worked with LA based hard rock heavyweights, Scars on Broadway, sitar-charged psych globe trotters, Elephant Stone, and has shared the stage with an eclectic range of bands from Deftones to The Brian Jonestown Massacre. Under the moniker, Mangy Pride, he mans all the instruments, including amplified acoustic guitars, delayed harmonicas and raw percussion to weave his unique blend of classic rock influenced songwriting and psychedelic blues-based atmospheres. A true DIY artist to his core, Jules has self-produced several records and EPs for his original projects and has built studios everywhere from abandoned Narcotics labs to empty Swiss bomb shelters. He produces and directs his own music videos, and has just recently launched a weekly live streaming show called, Home on the Rangy TV from his home studio.
