Biography
Jonni Kilpiä (b. 1997) is a versatile Finnish musician and drummer known for his dynamic approach to performance. With experience spanning genres from metal to trap-influenced pop, Jonni has cultivated a deep understanding of musical dynamics and their role in delivering the right intensity and feel to a song. He is deeply engaged in exploring the collaborative nature of playing in a band, seamlessly blending the drums into the music rather than treating them as a separate element. Driven by a passion for live arrangements and a curious approach to music, Jonni is the drummer for several Finnish artists. He is currently touring actively with Ani, a prominent artist in the Finnish pop scene, while also collaborating with a diverse range of alternative pop acts. In addition to live performances, Jonni is a skilled session musician. Most recently, he contributed drums to the latest album by Ruissalo Amping, an indie dream-pop band praised by critics.
