Biography
Jason Bauers is a drummer and percussionist based out of Brooklyn, NY. Bauers began to tour extensively with tech-metal band Psyopus in 2007, and subsequently played on the band’s 2009 release “Odd Senses”. During this time Bauers earned a B.M. and M.M. in Music Performance, Percussion from SUNY University at Buffalo, where he began his exploration of modern classical music and co-founded Crossfire Percussion Duo. He has toured and recorded as a member of Unwelcome Guests, Mallwalkers, and Pick Your Side. Bauers is currently fusing together the worlds of modern chamber and aggressive amplified music as the drummer of avant-metal weirdos Behold the Arctopus.
