Biography
Heavy-hitting Australian drummer Jackie Barnes, son of Australian Rock Legend Jimmy Barnes was born into the music industry. On the road with his father since birth, it seems he was always destined to be a musician. He has been the full time drummer in his father Jimmy Barnes’ band for the past 18 years and is also a longtime member of renowned Blues/Funk band The Lachy Doley Group. He is in constant demand worldwide and is highly regarded as a singing drummer with amazing feel, musicality and endurance. He has worked with artists such as Cold Chisel, Richard Marx, Russell Morris, Joe Bonamassa, Steve Van Zandt, The Dead Daisies and Rose Tattoo to name a few.
