Biography
Born August 29, 1976. Professional drummer since the age of 16, Fred Diego Alfonsi played at the time in piano bars on the French Riviera. In 2000, he made a replacement for the tour of Carole Fredericks where he met the founding guitarist of the group J.A.H.O. : Christophe Battaglia. With Christophe, he made an album and a tour. At the same time, he began to work for artists such as: Julie Zenatti, L5, Roch Voisine, Yannick Noah, Les Enfoirés, La Nouvelles Star, Chimène Badi ... In 2004, he met Michael Jones who he offered him replacements for Jean-Jacques Goldman during his last tour. He plays in particular on the date of Ouveillan (Les Vendanges du Coeur) where he accompanies Gérald de Palmas, Patricia Kaas, Patrick Bruel and Patrick Fiori. Then he recorded two albums and toured for 5 years along side Michael Jones. In 2014, he made dates on Mickaël Miro's tour. Fred Diego Alfonsi also has his own recording studio in which he records his drums for a large number of French productions (Universal ,BMG , TF1, Publicis , Toyota , Nestlé...). In 2020 he is working on the last album of Hugues Aufray "Autoportrait". Today Archway were introduced to Frederic by Steve Bush (Stereophonics, Corinne Bailey Rae) back in 2018 and have been heading towards harmonic and rhythmic utopia ever since. They're currently working on a new EP to be mixed by Grammy award winner Dom Morley (Amy Winehouse, Adele, Sting) and together, they are doing more for international relations than any G7 summit ever did.
