Duda The Bricklayer is a self-taught drummer from Serrana city, at São Paulo estate in Brazil and he has been living in Germany since 2016. Coming from a musical family and inspired by his Mother Rosana, his first musical step was to play an old acoustic guitar from his Father José, who was also inspired by Brazilian country music. Anyway his passion for the drums was always there noticed by the playing on his mothers pots since was a kid. He finally started to have contact with the drums at the age of 18. Due to the conditions he could not offer to have drums himself so he always tried to meet with some friends that let him play it. In 2004 he and some friends created a Cultural Center called “Cecac” (Centro de Cultura e Ativismo Caipira). From that moment on he would be able to play some old drums and had more contact with bands. Since then he never stopped improving in the drums and at 25 he finally got his first drum set to keep up the dream of drumming. Back then he was playing with his band “Dias Mortos” and with many other musician friends from his city when in 2015 he was selected to play with “Lord Bishop Rocks” band in their Brazilian Tour. After that was invited to play in the European Tour and since then he is the permanent drummer and fix band member.
