Dorothea Taylor

I've been playing drums basically all of my life. I started out in a Drum & Bugle Corps at age 13 and fell in love with drums. I've never had a "real job" other than playing and teaching drums. I started playing in bands at 17 years old, ranging from Polka to Rock & Roll. I've worked in music stores selling drums and helping many local drummers with buying and maintaining their drums. I was the go-to drummer in town that could repair and tune working musician's equipment, which I thought was kind of funny! I did musical theater productions, played a summer production show with Debby Boone and Barry Williams (The Brady Bunch), and even played auxiliary percussion on stage with Ray Charles. My Youtube channel "DTDrummerLady" has videos with hundreds of thousands of views. I guess you can say my "Paradiddles at 230 BPM" went viral with over 400,000 views!
