Biography
Cory Stier is an American drummer based in San Diego, California. He is a live/studio member of Cults, a permanent member of Mrs. Magician and has played various stints for Weatherbox, Pistolita and Hideout. In 2010, Stier became the talent buyer for Soda Bar in San Diego and eventually purchased the music venue with partners in 2017.

Fine stick sound with hints of silver and wood over a broad, low-pitched warm, deep, multilayered wash. Wide, warm, full crash sound. Very lively, controllable. Multifunctional cymbal for refined ride playing and swelling, deep crashes. Also well suited for mallet playing mallets.
