Biography

Professional drummer, Chuck Peterson has been involved with music since his early childhood. He pours out his energy and passion into playing a wide variety of genres of music such as rock, jazz, hip-hop, Funk, R&B, country, reggae, orchestral music, and many more. Chuck has performed and recorded with Funkee Boy, Nik Gonzalez (Salvador), Sandoval Band, Thaddeus Black, Jaeme Brennan, Mike Greca, Nekita Waller, James Chappell III (And the Winner Is), Darrell Evans, Skip McDonald (Sugar Hill Gang/Little Axe), Driving Reign, Doug Wimbish, (Living Colour), Tim Rouse (Lauryn Hill/Run DMC), Howard Hill (Charlie “Bird” Parker/Art Blakey/John Coltrane) The Gablz aka Dark Compexion. (Movie soundtrack, A Thin Line Between Love and Hate), Eliot Lewis, (Hall and Oates/Live from Daryl’s House.) Chuck has recorded for major label artists for Island/Def Jam, Warner Brothers, International Records/Middle East. He is connected to Motown Records by being made an honorary Funk Brother by at the time the 3 remaining Funk Brothers.

Articulate, controllable hi-hats for a wide range of musical situations. While Color Sound 900 feature essentially the same sound and function as the 900 Series, the color coating causes a slightly drier sound, shortens the sustain a bit, and results in a more focused attack.
