Biography
Bob Leatherbarrow has been a top musician for both studio and live performances ever since he moved to Los Angeles from Buffalo, New York. A working professional since the age of 14, Bob has been playing with top musicians in all-different musical settings for most of his life. He plays with jazz and rock/pop artists, has worked on Grammy Award-winning albums, and you’ve heard him on a million film and television soundtracks as well. You can hear Bob play on the 20th Century Fox fanfare playing the snare drum every minute of the day somewhere in a movie theatre or DVD, for example. He has also played around the world at most major jazz festivals and toured with many top performers. In addition, Bob’s compositions have been recorded by many other jazz and pop artists. They have also been featured in films and TV, and he has produced for other artists as well.
