Biography

Bernhard Weichinger wurde 1971 in Salzburg geboren, spielte zunächst in lokalen Bands. Anschließend ging er nach Wien ans AIM ( American Institute of Music ), wo er ein Jahr lang Unterricht hatte. Danach unterrichtete er am selben Institut, bevor es ihn zum Jazzstudium nach Hilversum ( NL ) verschlug. Nach dessen Abschluss hat Bernhard dort bis 2008 gelebt und neben zahlreichen Studiojobs für Werbung, Fernsehen und Kino für u.a. Saskia Laroo, Sinas, Steye, Margriet Sjoerdsma und Liquid Lefty getrommelt, bevor er 2009 nach Deutschland kam. Seitdem spielt er u.a. mit Patricia Vonne, dem Adriano BaTolba Orchestra & Trio, Dick Brave, The Silverettes, Bluesoul, Thomas Blug, der Tommy Schneller Band, Peggy Sugarhill und vielen mehr.
