„Paiste cymbals, to me, were the pinnacle brand to play growing up and held up to the beating I would give them. It’s also great that the company operates like a small family; you just feel like a part of something great.“

Biography

Andy Rodesney is a Houston native and began drumming at the age of 8. Though times were tough, his mother managed to purchase a used drum kit for his birthday and from there the passion to play was solidified. He later went on to record two EP’s and tour with pop-punk outfit BetterLuck and was discovered by the easycore powerhouse Kid Liberty while billed for the same tour. After joining up with Kid Liberty, he recorded the 2010 LP “Fight With Your Fists”, the follow-up to their independently successful 2008 EP “Never Say Never” with Geoff Rockwell - an album that showcases his percussive versatility between the aggressive and energetic genres of punk, pop-punk, hardcore, and metal. Andy resides in Long Beach, California and has since worked with producer Matt Lang (Dangerous Summer, Dance Gavin Dance) as a session drummer and assistant to record Crooked Teeth’s 2016 debut EP “Out Here, A Lone” and various independent projects.
