Biography
Los Angeles, CA native, Aisha G., is an undeniable talent who began drumming at just 3-years-old. Her artistic ability and study of music has afforded her the opportunity to play various genres of music, in collaboration with an impressive array of artists and venues over her blossoming 24 year career. Aisha performs regularly with R&B singer/songwriter, UMI, and has recently performed at “ELCA” Christian Youth Gathering (conference) in Houston, Texas, Dakar Goree Jazz festival in Senegal, West Africa, NPR’s Tiny Desk with singer/songwriter Mereba, and music videos with artists such as PluggWorld & Yo Gotti. The accomplished drummer has received endorsements by some of the most well known brands in the music industry such as: Roland, Paiste Cymbals, Cympad, and Ultimate Ears. In August 2022, Aisha began playing for artist St. Panther and they toured North America opening up for artist King Princess. In October 2022, Aisha went on her first European tour with UMI. Aisha also began playing with an artist name Rozzi in November. In 2023, Aisha graced the stage for the very first time at Coachella both weekends. She also started her own r&b/soul band. Purposefully driven, affable in personality, and highly skilled, Aisha’s ability to transcend genres and play to the core of one’s heart is perfectly seamless.
