Biography
Born into a family of musicians, Adrien started playing the piano at 8 years old. Coming from a training mainly oriented towards popular music, he quickly set his sights on the accompaniment piano and other styles in the pianobar spirit. A few years later, Adrien discovered the drums alongside his father, performing the instrument for several years. From then on his chopsticks never left him, for 15 years now. At the same time, he also diversifies his music practice through passionate and amateur experimentation with world percussions, guitar, bass as well as M.A.O. In a semi-professional capacity, Adrien has been expressing his full potential on stage since 2011 within the Metal Hardcore group: “Beyond the styx” (WTF Records /Klonosphere / Season of Mist) with more than 250 concerts (including 8 tours) in 7 countries in his assets, 3 albums and 1 EP. The passionate drummer makes teaching his cause as he is a music education teacher in middle and high school as well as a private teacher of drums, piano, guitar and percussion. On the educational level, Adrien also has significant experience as director of artistic camps for Vacances Musicales Sans Frontières (VMSF). These stays, intended for children and young people aged 6 to 20, combine holidays and music while allowing young people to learn about music, improve their skills and even perform at concerts.

Sound character: Fairly dirty, full, cutting, rich. Fairly wide range, complex mix. Very responsive feel. Full, barking and piercing, yet somewhat cushy open sound. Tight and rough chick sound. A very balanced hi-hat with a healthy dose of dirt and a note of darkness, featuring enhanced power for players that require a consistently strong pair of hi-hats.
