Biography

A multi-instrumentalist since a young age, Adam Balsam has been active in the Toronto music community for close to 25 years. After a stint contributing bass guitar and vocals to local pop savant Spookey Ruben, it became clear that a drum-centric focus would open the door to more opportunities. 2009 saw him take over the drum chair for Arts & Crafts chamber pop prog rockers, The Most Serene Republic. This relationship resulted in two North American tours, an adventurous EP, and the band's final LP, "Mediac". Next, Adam teamed up with alt-rock warriors Mad Ones, and promptly entered the Canterbury Music Company to record "Regretless", the bands second LP. The release was followed up by a 3 week tour of Eastern Europe. Adam is currently working with The Wilderness Of Manitoba, and is an active touring member of Eamon McGraths electric band.
