Biography

Abraham was born in Mexico City and raised in San Luis Potosi, S.L.P. where he developed as a Drummer, Percussionist, Musical Manager and Teacher. In 1988 he had his first experiences as a Drummer. The first genre that he developed was Rock. He began to explore the world of Latin Rhythms and Jazz. Upon moving to Los Angeles, CA he studied with the World-Famous Latin-Jazz teacher Rudy Regalado. He culminated his studies in the prestigious LAMA - Los Angeles Academy. Some of his teachers included Joe Porcaro, Ralph Humphrey and Mike Shapiro. Throughout his career he has played and worked on many distinct projects as well as his experience teaching drums in Los Angeles. He has also begun to enter the world of production. He is currently working as a session musician, a drum teacher and plays live for various talent including GABBY VILLANUEVA - nominated for a American Grammy for New Latin-pop artist of 2008. NOELIA 2009 tour, latin pop artist CARLOS BAUTE, with Reginal Mexican artist GRACIELA BELTRAN on her tour for a long time and among others. He is currently working on his personal project. A fusion of musical styles and at the same time Mixed with video that transmits the emotions of the music of its own inspiration.

An immensely versatile hi-hat that combines finesse and articulation with raw energy and cutting power.
