How do I become a Paiste Endorser?
Thank you for your interest in Paiste cymbals and becoming a Paiste Artist.

Criteria:

Artist Relations is one of our most essential marketing ingredients that link the consumer directly to the Paiste brand name. Artist relations is also a vital link between the drumming community and our sound development team. Hand-in-hand, they serve as a key element in the fundamental starting point to enhance our product assortment, which will cover current and future musical needs and trends. Our Artist Relations Department is therefore continually looking out for new artists that provide a maximum exposure for Paiste playing in a high profile environment.

Paiste will not provide you with a determined list of requirements, such as top charts and television rotation rankings, as we feel that you should be able to judge yourself, while thinking of your influence on the drumming community.

Some evaluation criteria:

  • Active touring on a multi-national or international basis with a widely
    known successful group
  • High quality recorded performance and original music released on CD/DVD,
    preferably on a major record label and stable chart ranking
  • A good sense of product branding, i.e. willing to put a logo sticker on
    bass drum, wear brand fashion and mention the Paiste name in interviews
  
  • Highest possible musical ability and widest artistic range in order to
    create a true educational influence
  • A true love for the sound of Paiste instruments - the choice to endorse
    Paiste should be made with this being the first deciding factor

After a thorough self-evaluation and using the criteria listed above, if you consider yourself a drummer that should be endorsed by Paiste, we invite you to send us your application package.

Your application package should include:
  • Cover letter
  • Personal resume / biography, including address, phone, fax and e-mail
    information
  • Biography material on band or bands that you are affiliated with
  • Any recordings of you and/or your band (CDs only)
  • A visual source like DVD or video of your playing (if available)
  • Press materials
  • Digital high-resolution photo(s)


Once Paiste receives your material, we will then review and determine if there can be a future relationship between Paiste and you. A very important part of our decision is that we are able to accommodate the interested artist, considering our current roster's demands. We try to keep a close relationship with each endorsing artist and therefore do not wish to overextend our roster.		   We do not wish for our artists to become a number. As sometimes the timing is the key factor to getting an endorsement, Paiste invites all declined applicants to keep us updated on their career and re-apply if their playing situation has changed.

Please understand that we receive many packages on a weekly basis and we will always do our best to correspond with you in writing after evaluating your materials in approximately 3-5 weeks with our decision.
